Playing the Teletype Club Reverse Uno Card: Tactics and Strategies

Everywhere one looks the Teletype Club adds value. After all, one could argue it’s a new medium introducing all types of opportunity.

Anyhoo, let’s consider the obnoxious emails, Fhagbook posts and InstaGrunt posts our friends in the “education” community subject parents and children to. Best characterized as patronizing, self aggrandizing, childish and useless.

Do we need to put up with this? Can something be done?

Turns out, a lot can be done. Cornered Space Alien suggests the following:

Purchase a Teletype Club printer and subscription

Contact your kid’s teacher and tell him or her if they want to contact you with “information”, “updates” or “special instructions” for a field trip, etc. he/she can print it to you and your Family.

By the way, they’re paying for it too (we’ll update you on the cost)

If they balk, take up the matter with the principal and if you have to take it up with the school district. No where does it say that the school is entitled to know about or send to your or your family’s email account. If they say that is “school policy” tell them your policy is to minimize digital slop and in particular mindless drivel from “education systems.” Their policy holds zero weight and zero credibility.

You should also add that “my policy” is for my kid’s health and that comes first and foremost, I can’t imagine anyone disagreeing with that, do you disagree?”

Who benefits in this situation? Well everyone, especially your kids. With the Teletype Club in place your children now see and experience freedom from digital infringement. They learn no one has unfettered access to or is entitled to their or their family’s digital life. They also learn that not every communication needs to be digital. It’s a great way to introduce your kids to digital detox too,

Pick up the Teletype Club Reverse Uno Today. Reverse the ridiculous digital slop situation and introduce your children to digital respect Today
