You Like Me, You Really Like Me

Sally Field (s?) an accomplished actress appeared before her peers at the Academy Awards (a disgusting organization if there ever was one). At any rate she found herself on stage accepting a Best Actress Award.

In a state of euphoria, a state of complete self-awareness, or a state of utter objective perception she enthusiastically stated: “You Like Me, You Really Like Me.” Was she revealing her insecurity or confirming what she knew all along? To this day, no one knows.

More interesting, we really don’t know how much personal and real world interaction she had with her peers. The peers sitting in the audience and others that is.

But we do know she won an received an award from her peers recognizing and valuing her contributions to their craft and art. She didn’t receive thumb ups, emoji hearts, and other ephemeral praise. She earned, she won and she was liked as a result.

My understanding is the artistic world’s main objective (or should be) to point humanity toward some meaning in life. I’m guessing our friend Sally provided meaning and to such an extent the “Academy” couldn’t ignore it, hence the award.

sally was well liked, providing meaning and received an award from a relatively small group of people. Perhaps our friends in the Influenster community should look into Sally Field (s) and even her notable status as a Mandela Effect girl.
